Further Details

  • Customer Intake – You will be asked to complete the customer intake form, providing details on your child’s sleep. You will also be given the opportunity to provide videos and engage in follow-up communications. We will use the information provided to get a better sense of your child’s particular circumstances and needs.

  • In-home Consultation 1 – We will conduct an assessment of and where appropriate, assist with optimising your child’s sleep environment including removal of light and noise pollution. We will also follow up as necessary on any questions left unanswered on the intake form. This consultation tends to be up to 60 minutes in duration.

  • Initial Assessment & Analysis – Using information from the customer intake process and in-home consultation, we will begin with an assessment of your child’s current sleep experience and needs. The assessment will be based on observations of their sleep behaviour as well as their unique attributes including weight, age, general health, home environment, delivery method (for newborns) etc.

  • Personalised Sleep Optimisation Plan – We will provide a comprehensive sleep plan, personalised to your child. Sleep plans typically include an understanding of your needs, a proposed approach, notes on recommended methodology, sleep environment recommendations, a proposed nutrition and sleep schedule and more. This sleep plan will serve as a reference for you throughout our time working together and into the future.

  • In-home Consultation 2 – We will provide in-person support, helping with implementation of the sleep plan, while facilitating your child’s night-time sleep preparation and their settling for the evening. During this consultation, we will also discuss your child’s sleep cycle and circadian rhythm development, establishing an optimal sleep environment, swaddling, re-settling, identifying feeding / nursing challenges etc. (for newborns and infants). The standard duration for this consultation is up to 2 hours.

    • Duration can be extended upon request for an additional cost in order to assist with re-settling your child during middle-of-the-night wake ups.

    • Extension options include half night support of 6 hours (typically 6pm to midnight) or full night support of 12 hours (typically 6pm to 6am).

  • Progress Monitoring and Support (Newborns) – We will be available for follow-up support through the first 4 months of your child’s life. This includes:

    • Five 20 minute phone calls (48 hrs after home consultation, and during each sleep developmental milestone – around the 6th, 9th, 12th and 16th week of life).

    • Up to 2 hours of email support & research for your child’s specific needs.

  • Progress Monitoring and Support (Infants and Beyond) – We will provide follow-up support for a standard period of 2 weeks following in-home consultation 2. Support includes:

    • Daily review of and email feedback on child’s sleep logs (logs to be completed by parent) including up to 2 hours of email support & research for your child’s specific needs.

    • Five 20 minute phone calls. Upon completion of the 2 weeks, a progress summary video call (up to 1 hour), where parents / caregivers will have the opportunity to have any additional questions answered.
